FutureDAMS Research Director, Julien Harou, is joining the panel for the launch event of ‘Storing Water: A new integrated approach for resilient development‘. The event is co-organised by Global Water Partnership (GWP) and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) for the launch of the perspectives paper which will inspire discussion within the water and development community on the role of storage in managing water and building resilience.

The panel, moderated by James Dalton, IUCN, will be discussing:

  • The importance of storage from a global strategic sense
  • Complementarity of nature based solutions vs built
  • How do we do this in practice?
  • Priorities for action
